Rules of Conduct
By using The Job Insider, you agree to comply with our Terms
of Use. The Job Insider and Buzzy Boom, Inc. are not liable
for violations of conduct by The Job Insider users, and the
responsibility lies with the individual user to assure that
their content, emails, or any other communication through The
Job Insider complies with our Terms of Use.
Discrimination
Discrimination based on gender, age, race, disability, or religious
affiliation is illegal and is not acceptable behavior for users
of The Job Insider. Job postings that contain insulting or discriminatory
language are not permitted on the list. We try to screen each
posting; however, due to the high volume of the job postings,
it is the sole responsibility of the job poster to adhere to
our Terms of Use.
Appropriate Job Postings:
The Job Insider is ONLY for permanent and consulting job opportunities.
You are welcome to post leads for permanent or consulting jobs
for virtually any job, at any job level, and at any location,
provided they are for legitimate businesses and are in accordance
with our Terms of Use.
IMPORTANT: Jobs that are for pornographic, adult themes, or
for dubious financial structures are not appropriate for the
list, and we reserve the right to refuse a job posting that
does not meet our Terms of Use or if it is determined to be
inappropriate in any way.
All postings must be made through the www.thejobinsider.com
web site.
If you are a recruiter, you are welcome to post jobs on this
site, but you may not solicit the employers who are posting
other jobs to the list.
Please DO NOT post the following to The Job Insider:
- Requests for recommended resources (i.e., recommendations
for nannies, real estate brokers, housecleaners, etc.).
- Listings selling or seeking homes, cars, etc.
- Emails about virus warnings, health scares, political
causes, special appeals for donations, passing on urban legends,
or anything that may be considered spam.
- Any chat or comments (please direct comments directly
to the support team at support@thejobinsider.com)
Abuse
Please report any abuses of The Job Insider Terms of Use by
emailing us at abuse@thejobinsider.com.
In addition, any misconduct on the part of employers, recruiters,
or job seekers will be cause for their lock out from the website.
Courtesy and professionalism are essential to preserve the
spirit and mission of The Job Insider!
Limitation of Liability
The Job Insider and Buzzy Boon, Inc. are not responsible for
the actions of any of The Job Insider subscribers or for any
employers or recruiters utilizing the list. The Job Insider
cannot guarantee the number or quality of the respondents
for job postings and can make no assurances about the character
and qualifications of job candidates or the legitimacy of
the companies and individuals who post job opportunities to
The Job Insider.
The Job Insider and Buzzy Boom, Inc. are not liable for the
actions of any of the subscribers or third parties, and the
responsibility lies with each individual to determine the
viability of the job openings and the suitability of candidates.
The Job Insider staff tries to screen every posting, but in
the event that a posting contains discriminatory language,
uses discriminatory practices, or violates any law, The Job
Insider, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and
officers are not liable.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT
SHALL BUZZY BOOM, INC., THE JOB INSIDER, OR ITS SUPPLIERS
BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL,
PUNITIVE, OR OTHER DAMAGES WHATSOEVER OR FOR DAMAGES FOR LOSS
OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, COMPUTER FAILURE,
LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, OR OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS ARISING
OUT OF THESE TERMS OF SERVICE OR THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO
USE THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF BUZZY BOON, INC. HAS BEEN
ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR UNAUTHORIZED
ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA, OR
CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE, OR ANY OTHER MATTER
RELATING TO THE SERVICE. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR
ANY DISPUTE WITH BUZZY BOON, INC. RELATED TO THESE TERMS OF
SERVICE OR THE THE JOB INSIDER SITE OR SERVICES SHALL BE CANCELLATION
OF THE SERVICES. IN THE EVENT A COURT AWARDS DIRECT DAMAGES,
DESPITE THE FOREGOING, SUCH DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LESSER
OF $10.00 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES.
Idemnification
By using The Job Insider Web site, you agree to hold harmless,
indemnify, and defend Buzzy Boom, Inc., The Job Insider, its
subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, partners, directors,
contractors, and employees harmless from any claim and against
any losses, damages, fines and expenses (including attorneys'
fees and costs) arising out of or relating to any content
you submit, post, or transmit through The Job Insider site,
your use of our service, claims that you have (i) used the
site or services in violation of another party's rights or
in violation of any law, or (ii) violated any terms of these
Terms of Use.
User Submissions
As a user, you are responsible for your own communications
and are responsible for the consequences of their posting.
You must not and, by using The Job Insider site, you agree
not to do the following things: post material that is copyrighted,
unless you are the copyright owner or have the permission
of the copyright owner to post it; post material that reveals
trade secrets, unless you own them or have the permission
of the owner; post material that infringes on any other intellectual
property rights of others or on the privacy or publicity rights
of others; post material that is obscene, defamatory, threatening,
harassing, abusive, hateful, or embarrassing to another user
or any other person or entity; post a sexually explicit image
or statement; post advertisements or solicitations of business,
post chain letters or pyramid schemes; impersonate another
person; or post material that contains viruses, Trojan horses,
worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other computer programming
routines or engines that are intended to damage, detrimentally
interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, or expropriate
any system, data, or information.
The Job Insider and Buzzy Boon, Inc. do not represent or guarantee
the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of communications
posted by users or endorse any opinions expressed by users.
You acknowledge that any reliance on material posted by other
users will be at your own risk.
The Job Insider acts as a passive conduit for the online distribution
and publication of user-submitted information and has no obligation
to screen communications or information in advance and is
not responsible for screening or monitoring material posted
by users. If notified by a user of communications which allegedly
do not conform to these Terms and Conditions, The Job Insider
may investigate the allegation and determine in good faith
and its sole discretion whether to remove or request the removal
of the communication. The Job Insider and Buzzy Boon, Inc.
(“The Company”) have no liability or responsibility
to users for performance or nonperformance of such activities.
The Job Insider and Buzzy Boon, Inc. reserve the right to
expel users and prevent their further access to the Web site
for violating the Terms of Use or the law and the right to
remove communications that are abusive, illegal, or disruptive.
The Company may take any action with respect to user-submitted
information that it deems necessary or appropriate in its
sole discretion if it believes it may create liability for
the Company or may cause the Company to lose (in whole or
in part) the services of its ISPs or other suppliers.
Refunds
Refunds will be credited to the original payee of a job posting
that does not meet the guidelines in our Terms of Use for
appropriate job postings and is consequently not sent out
to The Job Insider subscribers and posted in The Job Insider
database. The Job Insider reserves the right to reject any
posting that does not meet the standards of The Job Insider
for any reason. The Job Insider cannot guarantee the quantity
or quality of the respondents for a job posting, and it serves
solely as a conduit for employers and recruiters to advertise
job opportunities to job seekers.
Refunds will not be made for postings that have been approved
by the moderators and have been sent out to The Job Insider
list and posted in the database.
